The purpose of 52 Weeks of Family Devotions is to help churches support families by providing a tool to initiate meaningful conversations about God at home, and to encourage and empower families to leave a lasting legacy of faith in their children's lives.
Parents are eager to teach their children about their faith, but they often struggle to know how.
Unlimited distribution within your church enables you to provide a resource to all your church families, meeting this need.
Parents who tested the Devotions said it was easy to use, and their children were engaged. They loved the layout, the simplicity, and that the activities utilized things they already had at home. The Instructions were clear, and the Bible lessons were easy to share.
The benefits of spending intentional quality family time together in God's Word have been shown to foster a stronger family bond as well as a clearer understanding of the families beliefs based on Biblical principles. The children's moral compass is shaped as they learn to live by the Biblical truths that the family and the church hold dear. The church and family are partnering to teach the children about God and faith.
Roxanne Drury has dedicated 50 years to Christian Ministry, serving kids and their families. One of the top questions parents ask is, "How do I replicate at home what my children experience at church?" God placed it on Roxanne's heart to write 52 Weeks of Family Devotions with that question in mind. Her extensive experience as a Bible curriculum writer and teacher enabled her to do just that.
Just Four Simple Steps to begin the conversation at home:
1. In the Word - Read it.
2. Talk About It - Discuss it.
3. Apply It - Make it real. (Often a fun family activity)
4. Pray - Commit it to God.
Plus a Bonus Trivia Question
Each Biblically based weekly devotion is different and will take anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the length of the scripture reading, activity, and discussion.
Geared toward ages 4 through 12, there is something to be gleaned for all ages. Older children can be encouraged to lead the devotion time at home periodically, too.

Yes, a group of Christian Beta tester families with male and female children aged 3 through 17 tested the devotions in their homes and provided feedback. Overall, the testers said:
- "I liked that it was easy to understand and simple enough for me to utilize items that I have at home as illustrations. I liked that there were questions to help get the conversation started with our family. The Trivia Question was a fun addition, even for me as an adult."
- "I liked that it was separated by weeks, and with a 4 step instruction on how to follow the devotional. It is one less thing for a parent to have to figure out, so having it spelled out is helpful for us tired moms!"
- "The layout was easy to follow, the parent instructions clear and thorough. A one-page document was appealing and not overwhelming. I found having the monthly family devotions coming directly to my email inbox very valuable and motivating.
- "The Devotion Content gets a 10 out of 10. I enjoyed it as much as the kids and liked that I was given activities to apply the message. I liked the activity part best. It didn't take too long of a time to complete which is helpful when keeping a 4 & 6 year old engaged."
"Extremely valuable. Sometimes I struggle with how to make the Word easy for my kids to understand. This has helped me a lot to apply the Word in their lives. My children were engaged and the lessons were relevant for them. Thank you for this wonderful tool."
Yes. The plan is to have a new version available each year for at least 3 years, possibly 5 years. Year 2, 2027, is already in the works. Each year will be different but may have some of the same stories applied to a different characteristic of God or Christian value.
While the focus is on churches providing a tool for their families, a family may purchase 52 Weeks of Family Devotions directly from the online store on this website.
